Hello vintage LEGO lovers! ⛪
On page 4 of the legendary LEGO Idea Book 238-1, published in the 1960s, we discover this charming little white church, with its distinctive red roof, tall bell tower, and elegant row of narrow windows.

Its simple architecture perfectly captures the spirit of early LEGO building: basic bricks, clever construction techniques, and just enough detail to create something instantly recognizable.
I decided to recreate this lovely piece of vintage LEGO architecture, staying as faithful as possible to the original illustration while turning it into a fully buildable model.
As always, you’ll find my step-by-step building instructions and complete parts inventory below, so you can bring this little piece of LEGO history back to life.
Happy building!
