Hello vintage LEGO lovers 🚉
On page 5 of Idea Book 238, there is a scene that captures something LEGO did beautifully in its early years: not just buildings, but life in motion. Trains arriving, passengers crossing, stairs going up and down — a whole little world built from simple bricks and big imagination.

The model featured here is a railway station complex, complete with platforms, elevated walkways, staircases, and a long blue train passing through. It’s not just a structure.
I tried to rebuild it, but please keep in mind that once mounted, you can’t move it easily because the baseplates are poorly attached together. Also the train can be replaced by Lego System trains for a better rendering.

If you’d like to rebuild exclusively the station without the train, you can start at step 29 of the instructions bellow..
