Rebuilding forgotten Lego that were missing instructions
842-2 The House
Hello vintage LEGO lovers 🏠
At the far edge of Town Plan set 842, slightly set back from the busy intersection and the structured rhythm of the city blocks, sits a house that feels… restful.
This is the little blue-roof house.
In the original instructions, its construction unfolds with a surprising amount of character. The footprint is not purely rectangular, the walls shift slightly, blue plates roof, and the chimney, because in this kind of house, something is always quietly cooking… or at least pretending to.
Compared to the strict lines of the apartment tower or the clean minimalism of the gas station, this building feels almost relaxed. It doesn’t try to optimize space or define the skyline. It simply exists — a place where someone might live, read, cook, or watch the small LEGO world go by through a window.
We have rebuilt it based on the this plan that was included in Set 842-2.
