Hello vintage building lovers 🚚
This model is a small historical curiosity. The original image does not come from LEGO, but from a PEBE construction set, specifically Bausteinbox 703 from the “Programm 2000” series. PEBE was a European brick manufacturer active in the mid-20th century, producing building toys that followed the same basic stud-and-tube logic that made LEGO System famous.

The illustration shown on the box presents a sturdy three-axle truck, built with very simple geometric shapes and minimal instructions. Like many construction toys of that era, the packaging itself served as the main inspiration for builders, often showing just a single drawing and a couple of small assembly hints.
For this page, I decided to recreate the truck using standard LEGO bricks, carefully studying the original illustration and translating the shapes and proportions into LEGO elements. The result is a LEGO-compatible interpretation of a model that originally belonged to another classic building system.
Below you’ll find my reconstruction of the vehicle, along with building instructions and a complete parts inventory, so you can build this little piece of vintage construction toy history yourself with LEGO bricks.
