Rebuilding forgotten Lego that were missing instructions

Idea Book 1 : The Blue Cottage

This image, sourced from page 2 of the LEGO Idea Book 1 (also referenced as set 238-0), features a blue small town house or cottage with a 3-steps instructions. On this web page, we provide step-by-step instructions to build this charming blue cottage, following the three-stage assembly process illustrated on the right. Interestingly, the design includes a 2×12 red brick, a piece that did not exist in the actual LEGO inventory, adding a unique historical quirk to this classic 1950s build.

Note that the tree is not the good one on this picture as the piece shown in the Idea Book doesn’t exists in stud.io. But I give the accurate reference in the inventory bellow.
